Homeless Dog Accompanies Street Vendor Amid Coronavirus Crisis
Millions of people have died as a result of the Coronavirus, which has also had an economic impact on several nations. Peru has been particularly hard hit, and it is from Peru that the touching tale of a street seller who epitomizes a challenging reality emerges.
There are now around 257,000 cases and over 8,000 fatalities in Peru. Everyone is trying their best to live day by day as the situation for informal laborers becomes more complicated.
Like in the case of this woman, whose tale was shared on social media through pictures of her cuddled up and braving the chilly weather in the company of a homeless puppy.
Sarisha Sarangi was the one who posted about the woman’s predicament on Facebook; she was standing outside the Parque Industrial railway station in Lima’s Villa Salvador neighborhood.
The following was said by Sarangi in the article:
“They are both placed under a quarantine. This woman works as a street seller and regularly comes early at the Parque Industrial railway station in Villa el Salvador. She still has her beloved street dog companion at her side, though. She accepts a few slices of bread. They were drawn together by quarantine. Aid must be provided to both.
The puppy was easily located, and the Station Petty Officer is currently taking good care of him.
He currently goes by the name “Pepe,” and he has demonstrated that he is a very kind and outgoing person.
