Puppy Abandoned For Being ‘Too Big For Sale’ Has A Loving Home

The circumstances of the moms and the treatment they get in the “puppy factories” are extremely brutal, and if a puppy fails to reach their “standards,” it is abandoned to its fate. Bertram, a 5-month-old Pomeranian dog, was abandoned by his breeders because he was “too large to sell,” according to his breeders.

But, as there are many nice people in the world, Bertram was discovered on Petfinder by a New York artist who fell in love with his photographs right away and chose to adopt him.

“I flew all the way to Tulsa to get it, which was quite an experience.” They were heartbroken to say their goodbyes at the shelter, but he had gotten a scholarship.

Kathy says she didn’t believe in love at first sight since it seemed mystical and unbelievable to her, until Bertram hit her.

Kathy expressed herself as follows:

“His small face, his blue bandana, his enormous paws and his eyes looking in different ways, when he was a puppy, the expression on his face whispered to me, I knew it would be him.”

Kathy’s love for her cat prompted her to set up an Instagram account for her pet and film all of her everyday activities. Bertram’s photographs have become quite well-known and have taken over the networks; Bertie’s (as he is popularly known) supporters number over 441,000 individuals.

Bertie’s mother isn’t shocked that her puppy has become so well-known. She makes the following observation:

“Bert is amazing and makes people happy; the internet was intended for beautiful animals; and people need an antidote to everything that is bad.”

Many people come to Kathy’s art gallery to meet Bertie and take photographs with him, or to bring their dogs to meet him.

She went on to say:

“At the art museum, he spends the entire day with me, which he clearly likes. Every afternoon, he takes me to the dog park, which is his favorite location.”
