This Man Leaves His Work In Order To Travel Across The Country And Rescue Pets From Shelters
Lee Asher lived in Los Angeles, California, with a strange family of nine creatures whom he had rescued on his own. Asher has known since he was a child that he was destined to aid animals in need, and he has rescued 16 of them since then.
Asher used to spend a lot of time as a youngster learning about the rescue process at an animal shelter near his house. As a result of this, he realized that his life’s work as an adult would be to rescue animals and assist them in finding homes.
According to Asher, who spoke to The Dodo,
“I always knew I’d have a house full of rescued animals when I grew up, so where I am today comes as no surprise to me or anyone who has known me since I was a child.”
The guy brought seven dogs, Yaffa, Molly, Cali, BoBo, Butters, Haven, and Lillie, as well as two cats, Whiskey and Goose, to his home.
He’s always been able to assist these creatures. They were all saved from various sorts of abuse and now have a joyful existence.
Asher stated,
Inspiration comes from a love of dogs and the knowledge that by rescuing a dog, you are not only saving a life, but also making room for additional rescued animals to be adopted. It’s a win-win situation with a lovely sensation.
However, his passion for animals, particularly dogs, has driven him to decide to make his life an adventure. He sold everything he owned, quit his job, packed what he had left, and set off on a cross-country trek with his rescued animals.
This kind man embarked on a journey in his motor home with the sole intention of rescuing pets from shelters. He goes throughout the United States with a friend and his animals, who assist him in his rescue quest.
The two buddies have been highly active on social media in the hopes of inspiring others through their posts. They also encourage people to think differently about pets in shelters.
He wants people to understand that shelter dogs are not dangerous creatures; they simply require a lot of love and care, and they bark because they want to be let out.
So far, this man and his rescue organization have visited around 31 states throughout the US, rescuing 90 dogs.
While both lads might be enjoying a fantastic time in their RV with all of their dogs, they would rather help others in need.
They are deeply devoted to the cause and want to ensure that all of the dogs who have been imprisoned find their ultimate homes.
